Flying!


The weeks are flying by these days and soon my summer will be over. I guess I have been trying so hard to suck every minute out of the days I have neglected my blog. I am such a bad girl. I had good intentions but oh well, I am enjoying myself more than ever. This has probably been the best summer ever. I have spent so much time with family and friends and I feel like I am on top of the world. I love summer more than anytime of the year even when it is super hot like it has been.

I just received my photos from the photographer and this one is my favorite because it really shows off my abs, well not so much on blogger but if you saw this in person I think you would would like it.

I am selling my black blinged out evening suit and figure if I compete again I want a new one anyway. I plan on possibly competing next year but want a new suit and a new routine to go with it.

Things are good on the fitness front. I am working out hard and my diet has been about 80%.I still can see my abs, not as much but they are still popping out. I love my shoulders and back and get lot of compliments on my arms, my ass not so much. That was the first place it started coming back and then it was the hips and that was trying really hard but I cannot stay on a comp diet year round so I am trying to get used to a little more junk in the trunk. I really need to buckle down though because hubby's reunion is at the end of July and that does give me some incentive.

Now, if I can just find the time to catch up on everyone else's blog! I miss everyone but cannot seem to fit everything in. I have been ask to join a team on tracker too and that is one more thing to keep up with but I think I will do it, kind of a mini challenge.

Well I won't repeat everything I said to you in my last contact, except to say that the YOU time is impotant, so I would politely say don't get too involved in lots of other stuff if it neglects the you time.

If it doesn't that's fine :-) :-).

As for the bits of junk, it doesn't have to be like that. If you want to eat off the comp diet, you can always add stuff to food that has little to no caloric effect, like Cinnamon, Ground Ginger, Nutmeg, Parsley and other herbs / spices, or add things you might not normally be allowed on the diet, so if things like Peppers, Mushrooms, occasional Rice portions, Nuts, Oils etc etc, aren't permitted, just have a little of those now and again, rather than just having bits of Ice cream, or Chocolate etc etc.

Maybe a way forward for you perhaps :-) :-).

Whatever happens I am sure everything you want in life will happen. Keep doing what you're doing, and being everything you are.

As always, I am proud of you, and I really want the best for you in life. I hope it happens, as you're a wonderful Lady, and a fabulous human being.

Matt~ It is so strange how my taste buds have changed. I do not want any junk at all. I sure thought I did when I was comp dieting but now I would not touch it with a ten foot pole! I worked to hard to eat that crap. My biggest downfall is almonds and I have been eating lots of stuff from my garden. I am making homemade salsa and stuff from the garden and enjoying it occasionally but no junk at all.I do not want to wake up those sleeping taste buds for sugary crap, ya know?

The point is, you are enjoying life and that is a good thing. Blogs can be neglected if the reasons are this ;)

Pics are great and you sound very happy and grounded...I'm glad :)

I think it is GREAT that you are focusing your time on family and friends. That is what life is all about Sister! :)
